Far away,
Someone is waiting
For that text
That you hid behind
Your ribcage.

Waiting to be acknowledged
While you sit here
Scared and lonely

In some lonely
And dense wood
A flower stands,
Waiting to be
plucked by you.

In some crooked little
Corner of that stall
Is waiting a bar
Of chocolate
Surrounded by
Groceries and spoons

Far away
On some shore
or beach
Is shell of
subdued mollusc,
Waiting to be picked
And heard by you.

You are needed,
