 I don't want to cry,

But the loudness with which the door banged today reminded me of the day when I crashed my bike into the car parked on the way.

I don't want to cry,

But the silence of the park reminded me of the dark corridors of those hospitals where no one sobbed and no one knew their way.

I don't want to cry

But the flutter in my heart reminded me suddenly of your charming smile peeking out of the phone and causing my cheeks red, and pray that you will never leave my side. But it went unheard anyway.

I don't want to cry

But memories surge up in my mind like tears in the eyes when loud songs suddenly get played. No reasons to cry yet the tears are there to accompany.
