Examination Hall

Ticking hands of clock,

Make the heartbeats rock.

Staring invigilators,

Glaring like alligators.

Sweats freeze, Students rigid,

Pens scraping, Questions flapping.

Last few minutes of exam,

Are like "boom-baam".

Full of anxiety and fear,

And excitement of being clear.

Answers come from no where,

Decisions stop whether wrong or fair.

Finalization of answers start,

Like a cherry on apple tart.

Then the last bell rings,

Invigilators fly on invisible wings,

Snatching sheets from students,

Like those are gold pendants.

Sighs and shrieks,

Mumbles and pleads,

Last minute requests,

Like treasure quests.

This happens every year

Still for many, this is nightmare.

But friends don't step back,

Thinking that it's hard,

Rather strike back,

By studying hard...
